Lithological description Coarse-grained crinoidal limestone at the base, biostromal unit rich in stromatoporoids and tabulate corals in the middle and fine-grained limestone in the upper part.
Age Givetian
Thickness 80 m in the type area.
Area of occurrence Southern limb of the Dinant Synclinorium between Trélon (France) and Ferrières, and northern limb of the Dinant Synclinorium between Bettrechies (France) and Hanzinne.
Type locality Historical stratotype in the Trois-Fontaines quarry (Givet) is poorly studied contrarily to the Mont d’Haurs Hill sections.
