Thickness 30 m in the type section.
Area of occurrence Northern limb of the Dinant Synclinorium, from the Eau d’Heure River valley to the Ourthe River valley, Haine-Sambre-Meuse overturned thrusted sheets and Vesdre area.
Type locality The original stratotype (Moreau quarry, Aisemont) is nowadays partly infilled, the road between Le Roux and Falisolle acts as neostratotype.
