Of the recent revision of the Devonian lithostratigraphy in Belgium, the Lower Devonian unit descriptions have now all been added to our website, see here. The Middle and Upper Devonian information is coming soon. In the mean time they can be consulted in the approved proposal documents.

Website update! The NCS has published orthographic guidelines online, for correctly writing Belgian stratigraphic unit names. These guidelines are available in English, Dutch, French and German.
Conference alert! On 24-27 June 2025 the GeoTolosa conference “News from the Paleozoic Worlds” will take place at the University of Toulouse in France. This conference combines the International Congress on the Carboniferous and Permian (ICCP), VARISCAN and the International Subcommission on Devonian Stratigraphy meetings.
